Do I have to order 1/2kg of meat?
No, you can order as little or as much as you want. Our pricing is per 1/2kg but you buy per weight.
What type of food do you serve?
We specialise in traditional wood-fired Central Texas BBQ, including slow-smoked brisket, beef and pork ribs, sausages, pulled pork and classic sides all cooked low and slow for maximum flavour.
Can you sell out of food?
Yes, we can sell out but not always! Because our BBQ is freshly slow-smoked daily, once it’s sold out it’s sold out.
We recommend arriving earlier on busy days to avoid missing out.
Do they offer vegetarian options?
While Salt Slab is known for meat dishes, we offer some vegetarian sides.
Is your food spicy?
Our BBQ focuses on rich smoky flavour rather than heat, but we offer a range of sauces so you can add spice if you’d like.
Is your food Halaal?
No, it is not.
Do you offer takeaway?
Yes all of our BBQ is available for takeaway so you can enjoy The Salt Slab wherever you are. You still have to stand in the line though.

Do you take bookings or reservations?
We operate on a first come, first served basis and don’t require bookings. For large groups or special events, feel free to contact us directly.

What are your trading hours?
Our hours may vary depending on the season and special events. We are open Saturdays 11:30 until 17:00 and Sundays 11:30 until 16:30. Our bar opens from 10am Saturdays and Sundays. Please check our social media pages for the latest updates and opening times.
